The Irish had alot to do back in the days. They were pretty much one of Italian mafias allys. Back then a immigrant was dirt , but when you bring two diffrent nations that have been through hardships you find the altimate gang. Those were the original Wize Guys.

Even now, immigrants are treated as dirt. They come to our countries looking for a better life, and they get stuck in crappy jobs struggling to get by. You can say they have no skills and should go to school, but to go to school, they need cash and they can't save the cash because they need it to survive. It's a vicious circle.

He NEVER talked about it, but I know my Dad was in the early San Fransisco Family. He was born in 1914 in Redwood City and said he spent a lot of time in North Beach as a kid. He was a driver for the Crockers(Crocker National Bank) One of my Cousins made a remark during during a Thanksgiving dinner, something about "How is 'ol Botchafazu anyway?"(Mom and Dad were divorced in '76, I don't keep in touch)......after they split, I found and old Lupara in one of his trunks hidden in the garage. Makes me wonder what he "botched" and why he lived through it.......
