The music that comes out of Italy is recognized by the world, as to being some of the most beutiful tunes in the world. Some of my personal favourite songs are: [glow=red,2,300] [/glow] When i think of some more i will add them... There is also some folk music i grew up listening to...Some from Sicilia, my nonno (Italian for grandfather) - he use to play the piano accordian to me and the whole family many years ago. My mother reminds me of the music he use to play, here are some and other folk songs i have heard over the years. [glow=red,2,300] [/glow] Any of my paesani relate to this?

[glow=green,2,300]Alright, I'd have to say my favorite Italian music is made by Louis Prima, and Andrea Bocelli. By Mr. Prima my favorite song is The Bigger The Figure, and by Mr. Bocelli, I'd have to say Romanza[/glow]

[glow=green,2,300]I used to work in the kitchen of an Italian ristorante. Many of the songs we heard were by Louis Prima, but I've never been able to find "Bigger The Figure." It's a very funny song, here is the chorus for you... "The bigger the fig'r, the more that I love'r, the more that I love'r, the more that I feed'r, the more that I feed'r, the bigger the fig'r, the bigger the fig'r, the more I can love!" It should also be understood that he is talking about his wife, the opening line is, "My wife is as big as a house."[/glow]

i have a new fav. - it's actually sung half in french, half in Italian. The singers are Helene Segara and Laura Pausini ... they both have very beautiful voices. The name of the song is 'on n'oublie jamais rien, on vit avec' - we never forget anything, we live with it.
